Upper Detroit Riverfront Parks Friend Group Meeting

The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the roles and responsibilities associated with Friend Groups around the city to better determine the goals for the Upper Detroit Riverfront Parks (UDRP).  We will discuss a Friend Group’s roles from the City’s perspective and we will hear presentations from Friend Groups doing amazing work in other city parks, showcasing possibilities for UDRP stewardship activities in the future.  The UDRP Friend Group will be able to ask questions and make suggestions regarding future stewardship activities, as well as identify anyone who ought to be included.

At the conclusion of the meeting, The National Park Service would like to schedule a strategic planning workshop for the following month, which will allow the UDRP Friend Group to determine their roles and responsibilities from their own perspective.
